How are you keeping him? When and from where did you get him?

1. Ive got him in a glass tank that is 3ftlong x 16"wide.his substrate is sand.he has a rock water bowl.a hiding spot.a log and a little ladder to climb on and a heat pad.and a light.

2. i got him about 2 or 3 weeks ago from pedigre pets in shawnee, oklahoma.

How warm is his warm spot? Does he use the hiding spot? Has he ever eaten for you or did he just stop recently?
(my first piece of advice is to take him to the vet for a parasite check. it's not expensive and may solve the problem)

1. the temp. is 105.2 2.yes he uses his hide spot 3. he hasnt eaten for me. 4.i gave him "nature zone worm guard"

I was wondering about that worm guard stuff myself... But parazap's website, which is a similar product, doesn't mention it doing anything for ameoba based diseases like giardia. My bearded dragon had giardia so it does happen. At any rate there is obviously some sort of problem with your little guy and a vet can help you get to the bottom of it.
Force feeding an animal can stress it out quite badly and cause it not to eat on its own at all. I only use it as a last resort in animals that have lost significant amounts of weight, or under a vet's guidance. I really think you need a vet to help you sort this all out. Hopefully someone else can help you if your husbandry parameters are off, I have a different sort of monitor, so I don't have any savanna-specific experience.

you can find a caresheet at our site, lots of monitor info in that section, and the FAQ as well. check out the FAQ here and at varanus.net as well.

you are now the 3,001,056,786th person to buy a Savannah without the first clue as to how to keep it. you need to get the setup straight, temps great, and everything else in line if you would like to have your monitor longer than 3 months.

lots of work to do, might as well jump on it today, good luck
