My two unsexed garters have always been living together , with no noticeable problem. They are about 15 months old... One of them as recently shed and now , she flees and whips the other one with its tail wheneverr it gets close. That "dominant" garter is one who's weight has significantly increased in a very small laps of time...i doubt it to be pregnant , as they haven't hibernated and are still young...so what do you belive is the deal ? Is the fat one a female and the other one a male , stimulated by her recent shed and trying to mate ??? If so , i should leave them be...
However , if she is alredy pregnant and whises peace , i should seperate them... and then , if neither explanation is good , what explains this sudden change of attitude between these ever peacefull companions ?
