Thread Snake picture

This snake is actually quite amazing. Not only is it the smallest snake in the world, it is one of the only(if not ONLY)snake that chews it's food! Since Thread Snakes are so small(6-8 inches)their main food are ants/ant eggs, termites and termite eggs. The eating habit of the threadsnake may be the result of its hazardous foraging strategy, when threadsnakes invade ants' nests to find sufficient food, they have to eat very quickly to avoid being attacked or even killed by large and powerful worker ants guarding the nests. (Info and photo courtesty of Nate Kley.)

Let's hope this pic shows up.

To tell you the truth I haven't researched that far into this snake species. And there already isn't much info about them. I told all I knew.
