Ever noticed about lavender...?

snakeguy88 Jun 05, 2003 11:50 AM

Have you ever noticed that all those advertised "lavender" snakes are not really lavender or even anything resembling that. All I ever see is lavender this and purple that. Especially in kingsnakes. You see some, and it's like, "well where did the seller get that idea?" And it can not always be the camera...not everyone has a camera that does not represent the animal accurately. I have seen some "lavender" albinos next to regular albinos and they are usually very close to identical. I just get fed up with seeing it...Anyone else see this or am I just blind to something? It all seems to me to be the seller making the animal look a lot more "special" than it really is. Andy
