A few pics...

This was my first shot at taking pics of the new frogs. It's tough to get really great shots through the glass. Hope you like them.

From the picture you posted, they both appear to be female. The shot is a good one of their toepads, and that is why I made the comment.

Just judging by this pic, I would tend to agree with you... her toepads do look big for a female. But when you see her side profile, she has that long, lanky female look, whereas the male is more rounded & squatty looking. They were sold to me as a sub-adult pair from a reputable source...

...the body styles, don't you mean the opposite regarding the male and female body position and styles?

If their toe pads are similar I always go by the body shape and position. Of course, you can never be sure until you see courting/breeding behavior and have viable eggs.

Good luck

Hmm... honestly, I really don't know for sure... I know that in my 2 pairs of frogs, the ones identified as "female" seem to be a bit taller than the ones id'd as "male".... it seems to me that they stand a bit more upright, if that makes any sense. In the azureus pic, the male is the one towards the bottom of the pic.

Of course, these 4 frogs are the only ones I've really studied, so I could be way off base...

Nice pics. Are they Brazilian Cobalts? The orange caps are very nice and pronounced.
