Hi,
Here's what I have done with my cages. I use 3/4" white melamine for the wood. This works well because the white keeps the cages nice and bright. I attached the melamine with 1.5" #6 wood screws. Simply predill a hole and drill the boards together. Be careful as melamine chips easily. I then wired in dual fluorescents to the top (3' fluorescents for 4' cages) as well as a normal ceramic fixture. I haven't decided (my dragon cages are done, most are asleep for the winter anyway) but I think I'm going to go with one reptisun 5.0 for UVB combined with a regular 3' fluorescent in the dual fixture and then either a 90 watt flood or 50 watt spot (depending on time of year and outdoor temperature) for the basking light. The doors are made of sliding glass. You'll have to buy the glass and the glass tracks (a glass company can usually get both for you). Hope that helps.
Peter
