I volunteer at a zoo and have a friend who runs a reptile rescue group. Well he told me a funny story today, about an email he got. This woman mailed him that she had found the really rare snake, a Black Corn Snake! Now he has done alot with native species, we are in Virginia, and never heard of a black corn snake. So he asked her some questions and sent her a picture of a common black rat snake. He did not include the name of the snake with the picture. She was estatic, she said, "Yep! thats what I have!" So sorry guys but no new morphs yet. Still on the look out for a black corn snake. We are still trying to figure out why she thought is was a cornsnake, which we hardly see, and not a black snake, which we always see. Also, for those who read my earlier post on cat problems, I solved them. I bought a window well cover that works perfectly for keeping the cat off.
