Oh, Baby!

Took O-baby, my 2001 Southern from Spitfire out for some pictures yesterday in the gorgeous weather we're having here in Washington. It always pains me that it's so difficult to capture their incredible irridescence, or even over coloration accurately, but sometimes you get lucky. He's just a few inches shy of six feet, and just so d@mned gorgeous I'm willing to forgive the fact he bit me in the head the other day... lol. Enjoy!

In an attempt to regain your handling skills, you need to spend some time with us and dodge a few heads while scooping some poop...how's that sound?

Seriously...in the head?!
I have to laugh.
Unless you lost vision...in which case I am sorry.

I'm not even positive he actually bit me, but by poor planning on my part he got around my neck and shoulders and his head was hanging on my back somewhere. I was just trying to pry him off, and felt something bite-like on the back of my head. No blood or anything though, it could be possible he was just fleeing quickly and bounced off of it,maybe opened his mouth in surprise. He's pretty calm, though... totally fine when being free handled, and it's not even a problem getting him out of the cage anymore. But like any animal he can get spooked once in a while.

My baby carpet python swiftly turned her head and nailed my face. Its very possible. And the face/neck area produces the most heat.
