UVB light ?

My powersun bulb burned out the other day it only lasted 3 months.I was wondering how long my dragon can go with out the uvb bulb.I supplement with rep cal.I am going to order a new bulb on wednesday but it probally wont get here till next monday or so is that ok? Thanks

a week wont make a difference. You may notice a decrease in appetite. Make sure the cage stays bright and well lit.

Your dragon can go it's entire life without a UV bulb, as long as you continue to supplement with the rep-cal. I would be more concerned about running out of supplements than I would be of a uv bulb burning out. Anyway, like Bennet said,not to worry.

Even though I don't necessarily agree with you on that don't you think you should make sure to specify repcal w/d3? Does repcal make it without d3? Just a thought.

I agree...even though we do use bulbs with our dragons we have gone months without them...even had beardies lay eggs without them and the eggs hatched successfully as well.....but definetly you must use supplements and be sure not to be excessive...just dutst the food lightly.

here's a baby beardy that hatched from the no uv group...
