i picked this girl up at the white plains expo..the guy there said she was "carrying eggs" heres a pic of her underbelly
she looks alot different than my other female who i was told was gravid when i got her...

Your gecko lets you hold its tail like that? Mine dropped hers a week ago and i wasnt even handling her. And hadnt handled her for at least a week or two before.

It seems to be a personality trait issue- some geckos don't mind being held up like that- I have some that don't mind and I have some whose tail I will try not to touch. It all depends on the situation and personality of the gecko. Not all geckos mind, but I'd rather not find out the hard way...
