New Dragon not eatting...

Heather Jan 12, 2004 07:49 AM

I picked up a Very handsome little 8 week old male at the White Plains show on Saturday... Problem is He hasn't eatten yet... At least, not that I've seen... He's pooped 3 times, once saturday, once yesterday and once this morning. He's very active. He's got proper lighting and temps. But I can't tell if He's eatten... Is he just settling in? My other dragons ate as soon as I showed them food when I got them... So What's the deal? Should I give it a few more days? Is He not eatting in front of me but is when I'm not aound? Getting a little worried....

If he is pooping daily, I would almost guarantee that the lil guy is eating something when your not watching

i remember when i got my uromastyx i was wondering if he was eating,to make sure he is you need a gram scale and weight him every other day,if he remains the same or gains then he is eating but a little loss is normal when 1st brought home

I agree with Beginners Basics, He could still be getting used to his surroundings ( i cant spell :D ) Just keep an eye on him and im sure you'll see him eating.
