what r the affects of spraying dis infectent on bedding

I guess it might depend on the substrate and the disenfectant. But I would have to say that I would not think it would be a good idea to spray a disenfectant onto a bedding and then use it. Just my thoughts, give some more info and maybe able to give a better answer.

It would not be good at all. If the bedding needed disinfecting, it should be removed altogether. It is alright to use a mild disinfectant for spot cleaning but don't use a spray in the cage. Spray on a cloth then wipe on a dirty spot. However, with lose bedding, better to clean out the soiled area and any damp bedding in the area.

This is why shelf liner or plastic table cloth is so much easier to clean and keep disinfected.

If you're referring to something like Lysol - they I would have to advise against it. Lysol is highly toxic to reptiles. What kind of disinfectant where you planning to spray on the bedding and what kind of bedding is it?
