hey i have a corn snake, pretty sure an oketee and a cal king snake im feeding them both F/T right now but they are both on pinkys, my questionw as could i feed them live pinkys and then switch them over to F/T when it comes time for fuzzyz, because the cal king is going to be moved up to a fuzzy a week and i dont want anything live that can bite the snake back. I couldnt see a problem with feeding live pinks but do u guys think it will be hard to get back over to F/T when it comes time for her to go on fuzzys too? im going to keep the king on f/t but thinking on just buying the pinkys as i need them for the corn snake, cuz the bag i got has some reallly really big pinkys that she wouldnt be able to eat, and i could feed it to the king but hes gonna be on fuzzy soon i dont know..lol sorry to make it long ne help is appreciated thanks

if your snake is a good f/t feeder, it will probably eat half pinks and you get two meals for the price of one! I cut when still mostly frozen (makes a mess if you thaw first) and cut diagonally, so that there is a long "tab" on the lower section for your baby to grab onto. Some people have mentioned that they cut lengthwise so that each meal has 1/2 head and 1/2 lower section. May be a little messier, but easier to swallow. Be sure to feed in a seprarate cup to keep the mess out of your tank, and to make sure the pink doesn't pick up any substrate.

yea thanks for the suggestion i had to do that once before, just as she was about to eat i realized it was too big for her so had to cut a bit off it was gross lol but ya gotta do what ya gotta do i think i will just stick to F/T then just so i dont have any problems getting her back to it. i also already use a seperate container to feed in luckily i decided to put papertowels down too that day lol
