Pastel X Albino Breeding

Pastel Jungle Jan 12, 2004 01:05 PM

This is my newest idea.. Threw my 1000 gram Albino male in with my 1700 gram Pastel female (weights are guestimates)... I look in around 4:00 a.m. and their tails are in the right area, except the Albino is resting is head on them so I could't really see. A few hours later I find this. You have to love it. I figure if I can get one Pastel Het male, I will breed him back to my 100% het adult females. Unless my Mojave studs it up a little (still needs 200 grams), I will (hopefully) only hatch out Albino related babies. Albino's, 100%Hets, and I really hope Pastel Jungle 100% for Albino. All the pressure is on the Albino... He cannot wait til the Mojave is up to size because their are just too many women here and 1 male cannot handle it!!!!
Let me know what you think,
Tom Baker

Dont you think you should have...Bread a Pastel male to a female albino instead to make that combination? And deep the pastel female and make a super?

I actually would have gone for the "Super" but I foolishly sold my Pastel Breeder male. I was waiting to try and breed the Mojave to the Pastel, but I really am not sure if he will get the job done this year. I only have this albino male for breeding right now, and possibly can get my Mojave breeding in the next few months. I really didn't have many options.
Thanks, Tom Baker
