Can you please post the specs of your setups. It looks like acrylic, with 2 sliding panels in the front with misting nozzles and ventilation holes. Is there a false bottom for drainage? They all look great. What really bums me out is that I used to work in a shop that had access to all of the acrylic that I wanted and could make every tank that I have had to buy.

hi,
they are false bottom, "european style" cages out of acrilic. they also have computer fans mounted in the back wall at an angle pointing at the vent hole under the front glass doors. creates great air flow. i also put in overflow drains that drain into my house pluming, and they are set a height just under my substrate so i don't have to worry about excessive water in my substrate. i'm going to build 8 more cages maybe i will post some pics on how i put them together if everyone would like.
thanks
troy

I would certainly be interested in seeing how you built your tanks. They look absolutely great, and your rack system is neatly finished to give it that super sharp look. Of course, the blooming broms (Aechmea species?) sure are appealing as well.

Very nice.

WOW, I want to do just that. In fact I stopped and looked at the shelves on my way home from work today. I plan to pick one up later in the week, when I can drive my van to work.

Now on the tanks, did you build them? They look nice. I am not a fan of sliding front doors, but from what it seems that may be the only way to go.

If oyu built them:
1. What type of acrylic was used?
2. Do you have any written plans of sizes and etc?
3. Where did you get the acrylic?

Thanks,
kyle
