Mossy leaf tail gecko help!

Eris Jan 12, 2004 01:19 PM

I need some help...
I purchased a pair of mossy leaf tails (six months ago). Shortly after my female droped her tail, and then died a week later. So I recently bought another female and after about a week of them in the cage together I noticed her sleeping on the ground and acting sickly. She is now in her own cage, and I have been giving her Repti-aid. Since I seperated them she seems fine and acts normal...my question is...is it possible that the male is fighting with the female/stressing her out?, Has any one experienced any thing of this sort before? should i try to keep them in the same cage again? Thanks!

Are you sure its a female,it could be a male and that would explain alot.

I am sure it is a female, she is full grown and has no signs to being a male. That is why I am so confused as what to do. Thanks.
