i have a friend who is a vet..im going to take my 5 month old aru to him to have a checkup..i know that probing is not recomended at this age but i really want to buy a pair so i would like to know what his sex is..since it will be free ,has anyone ever heard of sexing snakes with xray???i figure this may work and should be safe since its non invasive...any ideas or experience would be really appreciated.thanks in advance

I don't believe it is possible to sex a snake using X rays. Neither the hemipenes, nor the testicles or avaries are visible on radiographs, unless enlarged.
