Finally, without further disruption, MY ALBINO RINGNECK SNAKE.....

HerpHelmz Jan 12, 2004 03:57 PM

People people calm down, I told you all I was gonna look for my pic and I have it. A picture of MY Albino Northern Ringneck Snake and one of my friend's for a color comparison. You could have seen this pic before, it was used on a few websites without my permission and I didn't even get credit for the pic. The snake is 14 inches long. Ha! I was finally able to out-do Will Still! My Albino is an adult. So here it is.

Very cool snake. Do you still have it? Are you trying to breed it?

HerpHelmz Jan 12, 2004 08:33 PM

In old posts I have said that I had one and it died. That is not true though. I was just waiting for the right time to reveal it. That time came when I found the picture. I don't know if I wanna breed it, let me re-phase that, I do want to breed it but I don't want to risk it in hibernation. Some people will understand me on that one and others won't. As you can see in other current posts I'm having a little trouble brumating my August hatchling. Which thanks to Bianca those problems are solved. This summer I plan on going down to where I caught this one and trying to catch another one, they are not uncommon, but they aren't common either.

That's a nice snake. Where did you get that albino? Do you know any place or websight where I can order one? I catch normals all the time here in Florida but I really want to get my hands on an albino... Nice pic.

I thought you said you caught an albino? Yeah that's what I thought, another lier. I found it in West Virginia in 1999 there is no way you can get your hands on one, not yet anyways. Maybe in about 10 years they will be available as much as albino Corn Snakes but not now.
