Awesome custom built cage

willis1234 Jan 12, 2004 04:49 PM

This is my awesome custom built cage. It is 12 feet by 4 feet by 2 feet high. On the top of the cage is my 10 foot 23lb. albino burmese python. The second cage down i have a 5 foot red tail boa and on the bottom cage is my red tegu that is about 3 feet long. The cage is built into my wall and covers about half of my room. Because it is so big i have my bed on top of the cage along with my computer.

Heres the other end. The cage was too big to get the whole cage in one picture.

IS that glass in the middle and screen on the sides? Nice cage btw. I'm in the process of building a 7ft long x 4ft deep x 7 ft high cage for my burm and redtail. They both like to climb and it will be two levels, one for each...

Also, I noticed the prozap in the bottom cage... Is that for mites? Or just in case? I'd hate to have a cage like that and have mites...

Yes, that is glass in the middle. The pest strips are there because my red tail used to have mites but doesnt have them any more. So i just want to be on the safe side. Those are the best things for mites. My burm and red tail dont like to climb much so my cage isnt as tall.
