Question for FR

In a recent post you mentioned gila monitors. I've only heard of gila monsters before and I'm just wondering if this was a typo or if gila monsters are a type of monitor or if you were refering to something else.

They are considered a distant relative. They were only used as an example of a species that can spend lots of time in pairs. F
