Hidding!!!!!!!!!

colster_28 Jan 12, 2004 09:09 PM

I've had my ball for almost a year now and up to 2 weeks ago, its been real active. He would only hide after feeding. But now he seem to always stay in hidding. The only thing that draws him out is a fresh mouse. I'm beginning to think there might be a problem. Someone PLEASE help. By the way, this is my first snake and hopfully not the last.. Kevin

The key thing is that he is coming out to eat so you don't have to worry. They aren't as active during the cold months, when you're sleeping he's probably roaming around. Check him out around 2-3 in the morning and see what's happening.

If he's eating - no worries. He's probably out when you're not looking. As long as your temps and setup are correct and you don't see any signs of illness/disease don't sweat it.
