I was gonna take my ig to a vet here pretty soon for a check up but I think he is doing just fine and looks very healthy in my opinion. What does everyone think? Does he look healthy?
Much thanks.

Here is the pic...

He looks very healthy to me. Nice and plump. How old is he?
I think he is about 6-7 months about... Cause they said he was 5 months old in the pet store and its been about 2 months since I got him...
When do they REALLY start growing? Im not sure how long he is since I havent measured him but he is getting pretty big... Around what age do they skyrocket in size?
Much thanks.
They start really growing at around 1.5 years of age.
accualy iguanas grow at rapid rates from the time they are born. how fast they grow depends on there diet, cage setup and stuff like that. a healthy igg will grow a foot or more a year for about three to fours years. and then will will grow more slowly after that. that is why it is very important that you give your iguana the right food/suplements in his food. i know with baby ones that they are consetly shedding.
