Loud defication (if thats a word)

gex53 Jan 12, 2004 11:51 PM

I saw my gecko out tonight (which is rare). She noticed me and just kept going about her business (which is even more rare) So of course i jumped at the opportunity to watch her. She proceeded directly to her restroom area, so i figured i just caught taking care of business. She climbed halfway up her half log so i thought maybe not. I kinda looked away and was startled by this loud squirting noise. She had just deficated, which i've never actaully seen her do. It really surprised me. I'm not sure if there's something wrong or if they always make that noise. I've never heard so much as a peep out of her. I cant tell if it came from her mouth or vent. Do they always make that noise? Thanks.

It's because they sorta poop and pee at the same time.
