Air Plants?

i got these plants at walmart around halloween their sorta spiked and their fuzzy the pagage just said that their air plants their glued to ceramic pumkins what is a airplant are their any dangerous kinds? im redecorating my bluetailed lizard tank and i want to put them in if i can find out if its ok or not

They shouldnt harm anything, i have some in my geckos tank make sure u attack them to a branch or something and not on the ground. They will rot otherwise. Mist them ocasionally.

Thanx, the ones i have are already attached to ceramic pumkins so im going to put the pumkins into the lizards can hide in them

What so many people call 'Air Plants' are actually Tillandsia (you can do a search and find a lot about them). There are several different kinds. All are great for collecting and growing. The silvery (or fuzzy) looking scales are what actually absorb the moisture they need. The so called Spanish Moss you see hanging all over Florida is a Tillandsia.
