I was thinking about using repti-lawn that grows sprouts of grass along with my current reptibark flooring. Has anyone ever used reptilawn and know how well it works?

I was thinking about using repti-lawn that grows sprouts of grass along with my current reptibark flooring. Has anyone ever used reptilawn and know how well it works?
It's an interesting idea, however my experience is that pretty much any herp will trample the grass making it look like ugly before it even gets growing very well, then it will die (even with watering), mostly from the stress of traffic, urates, etc. If you want grass you'd do better to transplant a section of sod from your yard.

Sorry this is late but I've used Repti-Lawn and had mold problems. I guess it depends on the environmental requirements for your species. Additionally I recommend AGAINST transplanting anything from your yard into a reptile enclosure. Fertilizers and chemicals common in many lawns are deadly to reptiles (and humans for that matter). Additionally, may communities fog for mosquitoes etc., so pesticides are likely present even if you haven't treated your lawn yourself.
