Wow, he/she is beautiful, Alice. Did you produce him yourself? ...Do you ever sell any of your offspring, if so?

It's a baby from a wild gravid female I found last summer. She had a thorn imbedded in her jaw when I found her that prevented her from eating. She laid the eggs while recovering. Bellow is a pic of Mom taken the day I released her.

I live in California and it is illegal to sell native reptiles here even if they are cb or captive hatched.

Ahh, I wasn't aware you lived in Califronia. You can still give them away, as far as I know. I used to live in WA state, and I bred blue color morph Pacific Tree frogs and was allowed to give them away- just not take money. That female is really lovely, don't think I've ever seen Southerns with such vivid markings before. What locale are they?

They're Californias: E. multicarinata multicarinata from Santa Barbara County. The reds are from my backyard on the outskirts of Orcutt. I think that it's kind of funny that I've caught als all over the place, but the best looking ones I've encountered have all come from my little 3/4 acre yard
