Im gonna be back with my lizards on sunday, and Im probably gonna get this setup done be next weekend FINALLY!!!

Im not sure if the 50/25/25 mix is by weight or volume though?

Im gonna fill about half or a little less of a 20 gallon long for my baby saharan, so that should be about 10 gallons maybe maybe a little less.

can someone tell me how much of each I would need in whatever form I need it (weight or volume).

Hey Jack,
The Mali you gave me is doing great and cooled down right now...I would just get a bag of topsoil, a bag of playsand and a small bag of vermiculite. The ratio is by volume really, but you might have to "tweek" it a bit to get it right. Not all topsoil is the same.

Hey Bill,

I was actually thinking of that mali the other day (so cute yet so nasty LOL), Im real glad shes doing well and getting good care.

Thanks for the help on the mix, do you know if they have vermiculite at petland's or petco's or would I have to order it online?
Have you been using the dirt mix?? If so have you seen improvements? faster weight gains?

Sorry! I just meant the section of the bigger store (K-Mart, Home Depot, Fred Meyer, etc) where you buy gardening supplies like hoses, plants, rakes, and so on. If they sell topsoil, they should also sell vermiculite.
