I am faced with another decision.A blue tongued skink or a mali uromastyx.Alot of people said that a blue tongued skink is one of the best reptilian pets because they are not as delicate as uromastyx's and are very docile and can't run fast.What do you think?

I have both, two BTS and 6 Uromastyxs. It depends on what you are looking for. If you want just one animal as a pet, the Blue Tongues are easier to set up and very personable. The Mali's need high heat, very high, and the young are pretty flighty. But with patience and proper handling they can also be good pets. I like them both very much, but for different reasons!

I would love to get both.But I am 13 and already have a bearded dragon and a pacman frog.I only have space for one more.How long do bts's live?Which would cost more in the long run?

Since you already have a Bearded Dragon, I would say go with the Blue Tongue, as Uromastyxs are similar to Beardeds as far as care. The expense in Uro's is mostly keeping them hot enough. Blue Tongues live longer, and are different enough from Beardies, as far as looks and feel, to be interesting! They are a great lizard! I know for myself, I like variety, so if I were you I'd definately go with a Blue tongue.
