live mice carry all the vitamins and nutrients a snake needs..

you would only inject FROZEN mice because some nutrients are lost during the freezing process..

Can you tell my why you are going to do this? I am just curious because if you have good feeders they have all the necessary vitamins. Anyway, just pinch a patch of skin on the hind leg and inject. In a science experiment with baby chicks that' how I was taught to inject them with hormones so you don't cut into any major blood vessels.

I syringe my pinkies with a vitamin/mineral mixture but thats for a baby Savannah monitor and the pinks are already frozen....You just pick a spot.. it can be in the leg.. or at the nape of the neck... never try the sides....or underbelly...

You see, some of my lizards ( beardys , baby tegu, etcs) suffer from severe lack of calcium or MBD (the fault on my siblings) and they need a lot of calcium and some just will not take crickets (dusted or other wise). So I started them on pinkies, but dusting a pinkie is not possible. So I was wondering what if I were to inject the pinkies with calcium/vitamin supplement, but I needed some opinions.
