I have only ever seen freddy drink once but the water in his bowl goes down is it normal for them not to drink much thanks

The water in the bowl evaporates after a while. I change my leo's water once a day, but very RARELY ever see him drink out of it. From what I believe, since they are desert creatures, they are more used to drinking a lot every once in a while and storing the water away. That's probably why their tails are fat. Anyways, just my two cents, nothing to worry about.
I have never seen my leo drink from her water bowl either, but i know she must or she'd be dead right now..
I believe the tail fatness is just that, fat. However, I remember reading recently that leo's actually get a large percentage of their water intake from their food. That is why is important to have a proper dry AND wet gutload availible to your food items. Also, it's pretty easy to tell if they've been drinking enough if there's "wet spots" around their poo.
