I have an unused 55 gallon and want to put a snake inu=it ?

What kind of snake? This may or may not be a large enough habitat for the snake. Also with all snakes you will need a SECURE screen lid, snakes are escape artists and can get out of cages with ease. Do some research and see how large the snake is fully grown and its room requirements.

U could put like two corn snakes in that 55, since a full grown only needs a 20 long, 2 in a 55 wouldnt be too bad, these snakes only get 4ft the are pretty small snakes compared to most
