Teratoscincus scincus

This message is in regards to my previous post about the "frog eyed gecko". I looked again today, and it actually says it is a dwarf frog eyed gecko, and it's latin name is Teratoscincus
scincus. Now, I went over to the gecko book, and looked it up and it does NOT look the same. The T.scincus in the book had very predominant scales, where as this gecko in the store, has very very soft skin, that looks like... well, people skin. The book I was reading out of said that T.scincus is called "wonder gecko". I am still baffled, and I REFUSE to purchase an animal I know little to nothing about!!!!! HELP PLEASE!!!! Thanks!!!!
