Which tegu has the better color??

susanpearl Jan 13, 2004 09:20 PM

Hi,

I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that the answer to this question will vary.

Of the tegus (red, black&white, blue, and crosses), which tends to retains a more desireable coloration as adults? I've seen a few black&whites that were more of a muddled coloration.

I'm just curious to know which one has a more impressive coloration...

Thanks,

Susan P.

My PERSONAL opinion, based solely off pictures would be reds and the whiter colored Black and Whites (The ones that are almost completely white.)

But honestly, I don't care. I've never been the type get all all excited about different color patterns.

Blues are the most aesthetically pleasing animals as adults. Their pattern stays crisper and they show a beautiful sky blue coloration in certain conditions.
