Twin Leopard Tortoises Hatched and Separated

I have severed the connection of the two yolk sacs and now here is the hatchlings compared to a new 1 1/2 week old hatchling from teh same mother. The tiny one is adorable. They are both very alert and I will try to feed them tomorrow. BVP

i was assuming that they would be identical twins, but i guess they are fraternal instead, since they have different scutes?

i wonder whether they are the same or different genders.
