A picture of my RES that i took today .. was trying to get a decent one to have some help deciding gender but the lil guy wouldnt hold still and my camera isnt that great.

Your little guy is so cute!! Does he/she like to hang out under the bubbles too? It looks like there are bubbles coming down over his head. My turtle likes to prop himself on something directly under the bubbles from the filter waterfall. I used to dampen the fall of the water until I found out that he really enjoys it.

Yeah he spends a lot of time hangin out near the falls from the filter and as well as on the heater thats right next to it. At the moment i concider him a boy. Just worried that if he turns out to be a girl that there is something more i need to do( i.e. i read that the needed dirt or sand in the tank) not sure how true this is. hopfully i can get a better pic of him to help out with the desision.
