Are the bd pellets any more or less nutrious soaked or dry?

I have read that people have soaked their pellets in apple juice. IF the dragons take them dry, is that any better for them than soaked?

Have you fed them dry? I'd at least soak them in water as they'd be hard to swallow. Mine like them better soaked in apple juice, but they also eat them soaked in water. I only use juice if I happen to have some in the fridge.

The only benefit I have found with dry pellets is with adults.... Sometimes if you soak the adult's pellets, they have very watery poops due to all the water intake.

Just curious, at what point should you switch them from the juvi to the adult pellets? My BD's are 15 and 17 inches long and I was thinking about getting the adult ones, but they seem really big.

If you think the adult food is too big, you can always break the pieces in half. I did that for awhile until I felt comfortable giving my beardie the full-size pellets.
