Do the little screw-in combo UV & heat lights work as well as the fluorescent tube ones? & do you know of any particular brands that work better than the others?

Do the little screw-in combo UV & heat lights work as well as the fluorescent tube ones? & do you know of any particular brands that work better than the others?
What do you mean by 'little screw in combo...'? If you are talking about the ZooMed PowerSun or the Active UVHeat bulbs, or whatever the T-Rex model is called... then yes, they are much better than flourscent tubes.

If you're talking about normal lightbulbs that you would use in a lamp in your house, they don't provide any UV rays. There are reptile 'screw in' heat lamps that just provide heat.
