I always try to go. Ian G. usually attends. NERD used to, but I doubt if they will be @ this one due to the time of year. They have some cool HOT stuff there - always neat to see different stuff.

I went to this show back in October, I was severly disappointed. Yes they have alot of tables and animals, but I don't think they take the time to inspect the animals being sold. I saw numerous animals that either had mites or were on the verge of dying. I'm going to give the show another shot this weekend, but if it's still the same conditions, I'm never going back to it. That's my thoughts on it.

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie and I'm attending the show this Saturday. This will be my first reptile show so I'm very excited.
Hope we all have a pleasant time at the show!
It's not a bad show but like Jeff said last summer there were alot of animals there that didn't look so healthy.
Alot of corn breeders that travel from show to show all summer. Really inexpensive snakes however I could tell by looking at them they were mostly newborns that were living in plastic containers in trunks of cars for too long. I cringe to think of all the snakes that didn't make it. I figure alot of these breeders are looking to make a quick buck and get rid of the little hissers before the cost of feeding and maintenance becomes too high.
Its a learning experience and also a great time to pick up accesories that are too expensive to buy at retail prices. For Example;bulbs, Frozen Mice, enclosure decorations, etc.
Lots of cool venemous species to have a look at up close and personal.
Go early it gets crowded!!
