Here's Joplin our 8 week old Cane Corso female tormenting our Maincoon cat... ahh it's great to see the cat get the short end of the stick for once.. lol
J

Sorry the pic is junk, they just don't sit still.
J

This male doesn't have the distinct occelation.. cross of some sort or? His scales are very "beaded" I have two females like him. Maybe the babies will look the same.
J

the flash kind of killed the pic.. but the lighting is dim in their cage from their destructive habits.. I need to build some sort of cage for the lights so the argus can't get to them in their new enclosures. Anyhow, this is the male I got from you Andrew.

he's a gorgeous monitor. looking like he is getting his dad's bulk and his mom's yellow, and both of their attitude

I was introduced to that breed back in 96(?) in the form of a 125#, 14 month old male who just a great big old love of a dog! Best of luck with her. Billy

Thanks Billy,
She is the only apricot/dark fawn I have seen with blue eyes. All of her siblings obviously outgrew the puppy blue eye thing, but hers stayed a slate greyish blue. Similar to some Siberian Huskies.
I've wanted one of these since I was about 15 years old, so 97'/98. They were always extremely expensive though. Now they've come down considerably. I have a male Neo that's about 140lbs and will probably be done growing at around 160-170lbs that is my bud.. Big ol' fawn. The Cane is my girlfriends dog, a scaled down more manageable version. I had forgotten what a pain in the butt puppies are, but i'm remembering very quickly! lol
take it easy man,
J
hey jordan, nice monitors, i like the deep yellow on his leg.
ackies are a lot of fun.

There's a female in the mix that smokes him, but I didn't want to dig her up for a pic. He was out, so just snapped a quick one of him. (Finally got a card reader for this digi.)
hasta,
J
how is the female argus doing?

I hope so too man!
Last night she had dug a big burrow, and was in it for a while. Figured that was it, she was going to lay... dug it up when she finally went to bask and nothing. Maybe I messed up and she wasn't gravid... maybe it's just more time?? She's still super fat. I'll try and get a pic of her, but she's usually hiding and they tore out the wiring for the flourescent fixture so I had to take that out.. They're nearly as destructive as the dogs. haha..
later,
J
Enjoy!
