I havent been on the chameleon forum in a long time, but figured you guys might appreciate this picture. The pic is a bit fuzzy, but you get the idea. This is one of 3 chameleons that made it into the entire backpiece.

Hope you like

Here is a shot of it thats a bit older, Ive sat for another 10 hours or more since this picture was taken. Still have a few blank spots, and most of the detail work still needs to be done (scales, eyeballs, ect)

Funny I was just talking with the artist about this topic monday. He said generally they tell people to say on projects this big it was free cause Im sleeping with the artist. Well, frankly seeing as I dont swing that way, that answer didnt work. So then we tossed around the idea of claiming instead it was my wife who was...... you get the point. Finally I decided its just best to tell the truth.

I paid 150$ for the original outline (took about 5 hours). I have paid approx 40$ ea 2 hour sitting since then. I have sat well over 40 hours soo far, with another 60 to go easily. I would guess I currently have 750$ in it, with another 1250$ ish to go.

That's not bad at all. it's really great work!I want something big on my back... tattoos are SO addictive. That way I can get a new one every six months, and in the end i will have one whole piece rather than a ton of pictures that don't go together. How long ago did you start your back?

personally, I have no piercings, tatoo, etc. and I am sure never will, but when I see real "body art" I am always impressed. The work is lovely! Did you do the design?

I don't know if you remember but I got my first Chameleon from you a Nosey Be male about three years ago at the Tampa show. He was actually my first reptile (I only had frogs before that).
The poor old guy has survived my inexperience. He is doing fine for an old guy. I think he was about a year or more old when I got him from you.
He recently mated with my Nosey Be female and she laid a clutch of 30 eggs.
Just wanted to let you know how happy I am with him. He is my pride and joy and I built him a cage that is 7ft tall by 3ft wide by 2.5ft deep. He has the largest cage in my herp room.
Oh yeah my one Chameleon turned into 50 herps and two incubators full of eggs!
thanks, Sonia
