I recently accquired two adult pairs of these guys. They appear fat, healthy and have been eating like little piggies. Each pair is housed in 30 gallon wide aquariums with ultra-fine sand and desert 8.0 uvb lamps on them. They are housed in our enclosed porch which is the same temp as outside (mid-90s right now) but they are not in the direct sun.
First question, has anyone successfully bred these guys? About 2 hours after putting them into their new enclosures, one of the males did a display to his female and mounted her several times.
Anyone have any info on incubation time, temps, humidity?
They have been feeding on bananna loaded crix and I just ordered a TON of harvester ants from an online source....is there any thing else suitable to feed them??
I also have a "round-tail" as well...who is about 2 inches nose to tail tip who is currently housed in a single 10 gallon....I am not sure what to do with?
Last question....any ideas for habitat design? They just have deep sand right now.
Thanks!
