SaveFerris Jan 14, 2004 02:24 PM

Is it a sign of sickness if my beardie naps (basks with eyes closed) during the day?

as long as no other problems ....

he may just be very "relaxed" and I bet a suden move or sound and he wakes up fast

some times my dex gets "lazy" for a few days after a big feed and just digests and dumps. then he'll be all hyper for a day or two like all the energy jst hit him like a "sugar high".

if the bd is eating, pooping, generaly awake and active a few naps are ok....

and age plays a role, how old is the bd? and if getting ready to shead may make them slow down a bit till the shed is going on.
