Same story, second verse. She's much better in real life, but more orange-red than deep red. The male is the deeper red of the two (in the above 2 photos).

When Del and I and the wives went to Tucson a few years ago we were able to visit John Ginter at his home. I remember when John was showing us his collection he took the red bull out into the sunlight to show us. Not in direct sunlight, but outside. I don't know what it is, but the red color really shot out when he did that. The same thing seems to happen to Texas Bairds. Take them outside and the colors shoot out at you.
