Quick photos taken out of direct sunlight. I need to get some better ones...and the dang camera washes them out. They are even more robustly red in real life.

Same story, second verse. She's much better in real life, but more orange-red than deep red. The male is the deeper red of the two (in the above 2 photos).

When Del and I and the wives went to Tucson a few years ago we were able to visit John Ginter at his home. I remember when John was showing us his collection he took the red bull out into the sunlight to show us. Not in direct sunlight, but outside. I don't know what it is, but the red color really shot out when he did that. The same thing seems to happen to Texas Bairds. Take them outside and the colors shoot out at you.

The animal in the above photo was actually produced by Scott Crumbly who, at the time, was holding my breeders on lone.
