Just Got My Ackie!

Hello I was wondering what you guys think of my enclosure for my 3 month old Red Ackie.
Tank 55gal
Substrate 1/2Soil 1/2Sand
Heat Light 100watt Reflector 5inches up from basking
Basking platform 4 thin pecies of red granit
Hide Hollow Log

i think hollow logs don't qualify as a proper hide spot at all, try something tight fitting and dark.

and without temperature feedback, nothing else matters...

Also my ambient temp on the hot side is 91 and on the cool side its 85. Is this too hot? Becuase he has been burrowed undernieth his basking rock all day.

I have a similar set up for my Ackie but I use a hollow cocnut as a hide he really likes that
