Pothos World...

BryanR. Jan 14, 2004 07:14 PM

This is a toad tank, but I didnt think it matterd too much since this is more about the plants then the species in the tank. The tank is a 29 gallon that contains 4 firebellied toads, and lots of pothos plants! Actually its no mor then 3-4 plants with a couple of spall leaves planted here and there. But some of the plants havr grown across the tank, up the wall and then up across the top of the tank (im using twist tie type wire to hold them up. so some of those vines are about 4 feet long, and one has been in there (gone through many cleanings)for like 2-3 years.

Yeah, those pothos really take off. You really can not kill them, and even a stem you cut off will sometime grow in just straight water. Great vivarium plants, especially for those larger frogs that tend to smash the plants. The pothos normally just bounce right back into shape. Andy

Yup, there easy maitnence, I rarely ever have problems with them, and they grow great!!! I have Java Moss int here, but its not doing much but sitting htere being wet lol. All the pothos in there were small vines cut off a plant in my back yard. Now some of the 12" vines are 48" with more then one branch comming off of them.
