Please Help - Lump

spike77 Jan 14, 2004 07:43 PM

Hi.
I posted over the past couple of days wondering if my mali (approx 7 months old)was going into brumation. She has stopped eating and sleeps most of the day and is staying in cooler areas of the enclosure.
Today upon coming home from work, she was on her back. She has a large, soft lump protruding from her side (from about mid-body to just before her hind leg). She is not able to walk very well, does not want to be handled and is sleeping in a curved position.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the matter?
Also, does anyone know of vets that see reptiles in the Salem OR area?

I don't have any suggestions as to what the problem might be, but Veronicag and I both live in Salem. I take my lizards to Dr. Hillmer at Oak Hills Vet Clinic in West Salem, and I believe Veronica goes to Dr. Mills(??), but danged if I remember where he is. Both of them are familiar with reptiles in general, but I don't think either of them is overly knowledgable about uros.

Best of luck!!! And let us know what you find out!
