Some new pics of my IJ male (and an update on the eggs he sired).....

JP Jan 14, 2004 07:52 PM

Well, this guy just shed today, so I thought I would take a few new pics. We just recently got this new camera, and I'm afraid we're still learning to use it. Anyway, I think you'll like the pics. Let me know what you think about the snake.

Also I wanted to give a quick update on the suprise clutch of eggs we recieved. As I was afraid, we've lost most of the eggs. Just the unfortunate result of poor husbandry at the time they were laid (scroll down a bit for my earlier posts). Anyway, looks like we've got three eggs still going along at this point. Two weeks in, I'd like to think if they've made it this far they'll go on to hatch. Anyway, I'll keep you all updated. Enjoy the pics!

He's a georgious dark phase. I love the gradient orange patches on IJs. Its so unique. Do you have any pictures of your female?

Here is the female. The pictures are a couple years old, but she looks pretty much the same today. He colors seem to lighten and darken a bit seasonally. Has anybody else noticed this?
