Crestie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Herper123 Jan 14, 2004 09:47 PM

Is this a proper set-up?I have a young buckskin female crested gecko that I bought on Saturday evening.I have her in a 20 gallon tank, with lots of plants and a log to hide in.I have a fourlesent tube over the tank. Here are my questions-

1.Should the water bowl be big enough for the gecko to soak in?
2.How many crickets should she eat a day?(i feed her babyfood too)
3.Is it true cresteds change there sex?

I spray her 2 times a day right now a water dish.

Thanks for any feedback~

1. the water bowl does not have to be big enough for the gecko to fit in.

2. # of crickets depends on size of crickets, the size of the gecko.

3. they do not CHANGE sex, they sometimes mature very late and a gecko you may have thought was a female is really a male.
