We're just getting our first and the reptarium looks great for outdoors, but would it keep our bearded dragon warm enough inside?
I tried setting up a beardie in a 100-gallon size Reptarium. It worked well enough in warm weather, but once cooler weather came along the dragon went into almost constant brumation.
Upon placing him in a better insulated enclosure (Vision) he perked up and behaved normally.
So, no, a reptarium might not work well because it is hard to keep consistently warm and hard to prevent cold drafts.
But it is a great outdoor enclosure.
I was able to use a 38 and a 65 just fine. It did take 100 or 150 watt bulbs though. They were in my basement which seem to run on reverse temperatures. My bedroom is there, and we've got snow outside, and i'm sitting here in short and a tshirt. So, it'll all depend on your own house. You'll have to try it out.
