Hi,
I was wondering when I should warm up my pyro and annulata from winter hibernation. Thanks a bunch-Zach

i've talked to a lot of very knowledgeable, experienced pyro breeders about that question. Their consensus is the longer the better. Some of mine will have been brumated 4 1/2 months...some of the people i talked to said 5 mos would be great. They also counseled pairing them together very early after the end of brumation.

I used to have a pair of Baja Mt. Kings (L.z.algama) and I cooled them for usually only 3 months at 52 degree's and had 90-100 % hatch rates. Ive heard that longer is better and maybe my pair was a fluke ??? So I would say 4 months at least just to be safe.
